Well, here is another really nice console radio!. Now this one is original finish! It could use some attention to some scratches and stuff, but I didn't do anything to it but dust it. It has a very deco dial and controls. Tunes Standard AM Broadcast and FM bands. Has a Phonograph and what a phonograph it is!! This is one of the way underrated or under-recognized phonos that there is. This is the ONLY infinitely variable speed control phono I know of, goes from about 10 rpm to 100 rpm!. You can dial up any record speed you want, but also a little or a lot faster or slower. I collect EARLY records, some back to the 1800's and the first 20 years of records are all slightly different speeds than the 78 rpm they are supposed to be. This is the only type electric phono I have to play them all. I have even seen them with a modified cartridge playing the old Edison hill and dale recorded discs (I think those are about 80 rpm).. I have gone through the electronics as usual, using all tested good tubes, replacing all the electrolytics and paper film capacitors. I installed a new cartridge in the phonograph tone arm. Radio was then professionally aligned. This radio works very well and sounds great. This radio sounds loud and warm, here is what people are talking about when discussing old radios sounding better than today's.
