Hi, well, here is another painted bakelite set. The bakelite was heavily oxidized and had a few small problems, so Jessie repainted, it is bright Ferrarri red with the markings detailed in gold. The back is an excellent original. I went through the radio electronics, replacing the paper film capacitors with modern polyesters, replacing the electrolytics with new production parts, and a new AC cord.. I was able to pick up lots of stations. I left it on all day and the clock keeps time well and quietly. Mitchell didn't make many models, and when you do see them they are always so beat up - here is your chance to get a real nice one, and it is a very unusual cabinet design. Not too much else I can think of to say, the pictures show the radio well. Hope you like it and have a nice place for it.
